Emma Harris



Emma joined the firm in 2001.  She initially worked in the Mortgage Repossession team handling cases for a major mortgage lender client.  She then moved to the Debt Recovery Department, where, in 2007 she qualified as a Legal Executive.  In the same year, Emma moved to our Litigation Department.  In 2012, she qualified as a Solicitor, having completed her Legal Practice Course at BPP College in London.


Emma has been practising as a lawyer for over 8 years and has a wide range of litigation experience.  Her particular expertise is in commercial debt recovery and insolvency, contract disputes and employment work.  In addition, Emma has dealt with consumer protection matters, property disputes and claims involving nuisance and negligence.  Along with acting regularly in county court and high court proceedings, she has handled small claims appeal proceedings and a case in the Court of Protection.  Emma is happy to advise both commercial and individual clients in any of the above matters.


Outside of work, Emma enjoys attending live music events and the theatre, spending time with family and friends and travelling.
